1. About this policy
This policy sets out how PLCG (Plc Group / Property Lifecycle & Construction Group) handles personal information. PLCG is operated by Homelander Pty Ltd (ABN 30 639 475 568) trading as PLCG. We are an APP entity under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What information we collect
We collect personal information necessary to evaluate, quote, deliver and document Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) building projects. Typically this includes:
- Names, contact details (email, phone), and business affiliations for project enquirers and stakeholders
- Site addresses, design briefs, participant or resident profiles where supplied by the client
- Financial information necessary for contract execution (where you elect to proceed)
- Anonymous web analytics data (page views, source, device class) via Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag
3. How we use it
We use personal information to respond to project enquiries, prepare feasibility and cost plans, execute building contracts, manage construction and handover, comply with statutory record-keeping obligations under the Building Act 1993 (Vic) and Victorian Building Authority registration rules, and (with consent) to send relevant follow-up communications.
4. Who we share it with
Where necessary to deliver a project we may share information with: architects, engineers, SDA assessors, certifiers, the Victorian Building Authority, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission (where SDA enrolment is in scope), subcontractors directly engaged on your project, insurance providers, and our legal/accounting advisors. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies for analytics and (limited) advertising attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies does not impair access to the public content of this site.
6. Storage and security
Personal information is stored in our project management and accounting systems with access restricted on a need-to-know basis. Production data is hosted on Australian-region servers where reasonably practicable. We retain project records for the periods required by the Building Act and statutory limitation periods for building defects claims (Victoria: 10 years from completion).
7. Cross-border disclosure
Our analytics providers (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States. By using this site you consent to that cross-border disclosure for the analytics purposes set out above.
8. Access, correction, complaints
Under APP 12 and APP 13 you may request access to or correction of your personal information by emailing projects@plcg.com.au with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
